Science Exploration Program

For second-year high school students nationwide during summer vacation, the department offers various lab tours and hands-on activities to experience research projects.

Undergraduate Research Program

POSTECH EEE encourages original research ideas under faculty guidance, even during the undergraduate years.

  • Three teams selected annually; up to KRW 7M per team supported by the department
  • Application: Submit proposal by Nov 1 (3rd year, 2nd semester)
  • Selection announcement: Dec 1
  • Project begins: from Dec 15
  • Final presentation: following December
  • Recognized as credit for the mandatory "Design Project" course in the undergraduate curriculum

Short-term Overseas Exchange

Gain valuable experience through a one-semester or one-year exchange program during your undergraduate studies. In addition to university-level programs, the department offers special support.

  • For university-funded exchange students: additional 100% support (department scholarship)
  • For self-funded exchange students: department scholarship matching the university grant
  • Requirement: Achieve B0 or above in exchange program credits

Freshman Mentoring Program (FMP)

Upperclass mentors help freshmen adapt to university life effectively and gain insights into the major.

Senior tutors support sophomores in core major subjects such as Solid-State Electronics, Signals & Systems, and Digital Systems.

LAB Tour Program

Through major exploration courses A/B, freshmen visit six different labs during their first year, engaging with faculty and graduate students.
