Dong-seop Lee, an integrated MS-PhD student in the POSTECH Department of Electrical Engineering advised by Professor Wonbin Hong, has been selected for the 2025 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) Fellowship Program. Lee is the only researcher from South Korea among the 2025 fellowship recipients.

This prestigious fellowship selects a small number of outstanding researchers worldwide through a rigorous application review. Lee was selected following a comprehensive assessment that recognized the originality of the proposed research project, a record of 57 publications, and 14 awards at domestic and international academic conferences.

Based on next-generation transparent antenna technology for displays, the project proposes a display-integrated antenna platform for combined communication and sensing. Through integrated designs using transparent electrodes, the proposed antenna-on-display (AoD) technology enables beam control and multifunctional integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) applications, with potential for use in mobile devices, vehicles, wearables, and other device environments.
