Professor Jae-ho Lee of POSTECH's Department of Electrical Engineering received the Young Researcher Award at the 2025 Conference on Information and Control Systems (CICS), jointly organized by the Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers.

This prestigious award recognizes young researchers with outstanding achievements in information and control. Professor Lee was honored for pioneering research and academic contributions in machine learning and computationally efficient AI technologies.

The ceremony was held during CICS 2025 at Del Pino Resort in Sokcho, October 22–25, 2025. In an accompanying invited session, Professor Lee presented “Scaling Laws, Model Compression, and Model Expansion.”
