Chaeyeon Kim, a combined MS/PhD student in POSTECH Electrical Engineering (advisor: Professor Chulhong Kim), was selected for the National Research Foundation of Korea’s 2025 Academic Research Support Program in Science and Engineering, under its master’s student research grant scheme.
The program supports creative and challenging research led by master’s and doctoral students to help them develop into outstanding researchers. Projects are selected through a comprehensive assessment of originality, academic contributions, key achievements, and the advisor’s supervision plan.
Kim will receive KRW 12 million over one year for “Development of Integrated Biomarkers for Noninvasive Early Diagnosis and Treatment Monitoring of Crohn’s Disease Using Ultrafast Ultrasound Imaging.”
