Professor Hong June Park of POSTECH Electrical Engineering was selected for the 22nd Haedong Academic Award, presented by the Institute of Electronics Engineers of Korea.
Professor Park was recognized for contributing to academic and industrial advances through outstanding publications and research in semiconductor circuit design. He also played a key role in securing SCI-level international journal recognition for JSTS, an English-language semiconductor journal, as its editor-in-chief.
The Haedong Awards were established in 1990 by Daeduck Electronics Chairman Jung-Sik Kim to recognize academic and technological advances and outstanding achievements in electronics, information, and communications engineering in Korea.
