Professor Hae-wook Han Appointed Associate Editor of an IEEE Journal

Articles | 2013-03-26

Professor Hae-wook Han of POSTECH has been appointed Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Terahertz Science and Technology, published by IEEE, the largest academic organization in electrical and electronic engineering.

Launched in 2011 amid the worldwide trend toward convergent technologies, the journal covers terahertz-based research spanning electrical/electronic engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, and other fields. It is one of the relatively few IEEE journals explicitly oriented toward interdisciplinary convergence, and its editors are selected from diverse scientific and technological disciplines.

Professor Han, an authority in terahertz nanophotonics, is currently its only Korean Associate Editor. He will oversee review and editing of theoretical and experimental papers on terahertz modeling and analysis and represent Korea in international academic activities.
