Professor Woojin Song, doctoral students Hansol Lee and Jaewoo Lee, and Dr. Sungeun Kim of Samsung Electronics have developed a method that substantially improves the speed–accuracy performance of the diffusion LMS algorithm, a signal processing technique used in sensor networks.
The team is scheduled to receive a Best Paper Award on June 30 at the International Technical Conference on Circuits/Systems, Computers and Communications, a leading electronics conference.
