To mark its 25th anniversary, University News Network launched a series examining university researchers' working environments and highlighting outstanding, novel, and interesting research, sharing achievements and information from National Research Foundation of Korea funding.

The series, Risky Research by Eccentric Scientists, featured Professor Younghwan Kim's work on an object recognition system applying characteristics of human visual perception.
