Keysight Korea Donates Measurement Equipment and Software Worth KRW 2 Billion

Articles | 2016-10-04

On August 24, Keysight Korea donated five sets of advanced electronic design automation software — ADS, GoldenGate, and EMPro — and one set each of a PNA-X network analyzer and UXA signal analyzer for design verification, worth a total of KRW 2 billion, to the Department of Electrical Engineering.

The department will use the software and equipment to accelerate research on millimeter-wave power amplifiers, transceivers, and antennas for next-generation 5G wireless communications and on terahertz technologies for beyond 5G.

Alongside the donation, POSTECH and Keysight Korea will establish and operate a Keysight RF Lab within the department to develop next-generation wireless communications through forward-looking industry–university cooperation.

Keysight Korea will support leading communications technology development and technical training programs through collaboration with POSTECH's outstanding faculty and researchers.
