Geonbok Lee, advised by Professor Wuisang Park, received an Excellence Award in the 11th Radio and Broadcasting Paper Proposal Competition in 2012.

His paper, Study of Analysis Methods for Four-Coil Magnetic Resonance Wireless Power Transfer Systems, analyzes and compares two optimization methods for wireless power transfer systems and provides design guidance. He received an Excellence Award and KRW 1 million.

Jointly organized by the Korea Communications Agency and the Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science, the annual competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students in Korea and aims to identify and develop outstanding talent in radio and broadcasting.
