POSTECH's commencement for the 2012 academic year took place on Friday, February 15, 2013, in the university gymnasium. As in the previous year, departments held their own diploma presentation ceremonies after the official university ceremony.

The Electrical Engineering ceremony was held in the LG Research Building lobby, attended by around 300 people, including Department Chair Professor Boo-gyun Park, faculty, graduates and their families, and current students.

The program comprised the Chair's congratulatory remarks; diploma presentations to bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. graduates; graduate outstanding paper awards and undergraduate academic excellence awards; celebrations including cap tossing, confetti, and congratulatory paper airplanes launched by current students; a group photo; and refreshments.

Recorded attendance: 329 — 32 bachelor's graduates, 21 master's graduates, 29 Ph.D. graduates, and 247 family members.
