Professor Nam-yoon Lee of the Department of Electrical Engineering has been selected for the IEEE Outstanding Young Researcher Award.

The IEEE Communications Society selects professors and researchers in the Asia-Pacific region with outstanding research achievements over the preceding three years. Following approximately two months of evaluation, Professor Lee and four other researchers were selected this year.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for December in Washington, D.C.

Professor Lee has conducted research across wireless communication theory and sensing theory, earning recognition in Korea and abroad for outstanding achievements in his field.
