In March 2017, Professor Hae-wook Han of POSTECH's Department of Electrical Engineering was appointed Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology (TNANO), in addition to his existing role at IEEE Transactions on Terahertz Science and Technology (TST).

Launched in 2002 and 2011 respectively, TNANO and TST focus on next-generation research combining nanotechnology and terahertz technology with electronics, covering physics, materials, chemistry, biology, medicine, and other fields.

Professor Han, who conducts interdisciplinary research in terahertz photonics and nanophotonics, will particularly oversee TNANO's new Letters section, introduced in March 2017 to publish important results rapidly.
