The Department of Electrical Engineering’s Communications Group and CleverLogic, a company founded by POSTECH alumni, have jointly secured a Creative Seed project administered by the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Promotion under the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning.

The project aims to develop multiple-antenna transmission and reception technology, a core mobile communications technology, and incorporate it into next-generation communications system standards.

Research period: January 2017–December 2021 (five years).

Funding: Approximately KRW 2.5 billion.

Project title: Development of Integer-Constrained MIMO Transceivers for 5G & Beyond Mobile Communications Systems.
