POSTECH’s commencement ceremony for the 2014 academic year was held in the university gymnasium on Friday, February 13, 2015.

As in the previous year, each department moved to a separate venue to hold its own diploma presentation ceremony after the university’s official commencement.

The Electrical Engineering diploma presentation ceremony was held in the lobby of the LG Research Building, with approximately 300 participants, including Department Head Professor Sang-Woo Kim, faculty, graduates and their families, and current students. The program included congratulatory remarks by the department head; presentation of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral diplomas; outstanding graduate thesis/dissertation awards and undergraduate academic achievement awards; celebratory activities, including graduates tossing their caps, confetti, and paper airplanes launched by current students; a group photograph; and refreshments.
