Professor Young-Jin Kim of POSTECH Electrical Engineering has been appointed an editor of IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, published by IEEE, the largest academic organization in electrical and electronics technology.

Drawing on practical experience in power-system operation, including system configuration, Professor Kim conducts active research in IoT and smart grids. His academic achievements include IEEE Best Paper Awards in 2014 and 2016.

As an editor of the journal, which covers the full range of smart grid topics, he will review submissions and make publication decisions through 2023.
