POSTECH Electrical Engineering seniors Hyukjin Choi, who plans to join Professor Junil Choi’s laboratory for graduate study, and Junseok Kim, who plans to join Professor Junho Cho’s laboratory, were selected for the 15th Qualcomm IT Tour program in 2017.

The program invited proposals from undergraduate and master’s students in science and engineering across Korea and selected 25 participants. Kim and Choi each submitted a proposal on the future vision and development of next-generation technologies based on 5G. They will visit Qualcomm’s US headquarters from July 31 to August 6, on an itinerary of seven days and four nights.
