Professor Jun-il Choi of POSTECH's Department of Electrical Engineering has been appointed Associate Editor of IEEE Communications Letters, published by IEEE, the largest academic organization in electrical and electronic technology.

Professor Choi earned his Ph.D. at Purdue University and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Texas at Austin before joining POSTECH in July 2016. He is actively researching next-generation mobile communications.

His academic achievements have been recognized through awards including the 2013 IEEE GLOBECOM Best Paper Award and the 2015 IEEE Signal Processing Society Best Paper Award.
