A team comprising POSTECH Electrical Engineering Professors Sihyun Lee, Namyoon Lee, and Youngjoo Lee, together with DGIST Professor Jaemin Lee, was selected for an innovative breakthrough R&D project administered by the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Promotion under the Ministry of Science and ICT.

The project focuses on low-power, low-latency physical-layer security technologies for massive IoT networks. The team will investigate physical-layer authentication and secure transmission and reception for the Internet of Things.

Total research period: July 1, 2018–December 31, 2022.
Funding: KRW 500 million for Phase 1; KRW 1.5 billion for Phase 2 if selected.
