Professor Byungsub Kim of POSTECH's Department of Electrical Engineering received the 2017 IDEC Outstanding Participating Professor Award at the IDEC Congress on July 3, 2018.

Established in 1995, the IC Design Education Center (IDEC) supports participating university professors nationwide each year to train outstanding designers and strengthen national competitiveness in non-memory semiconductors, where the industrial base is relatively weak.

As part of this program, IDEC selects professors with outstanding annual performance and presents the award the following year.
