Professor Kyungtae Kim of POSTECH's Department of Electrical Engineering received the Academic Award at the Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science's 30th general assembly on Friday, November 23, 2018, at The-K Hotel in Seoul.

Founded in 1989, KIEES is Korea's leading and largest academic society in electromagnetics. It has contributed to academic and industrial development in electromagnetic applications, electromagnetic environments, and related fields, as well as to major national development policies.
