A POSTECH Electrical Engineering team led by principal investigator Professor Byungsub Kim, with Professors Hong June Park and Hojin Song, was selected for a specialized laboratory project funded by the Ministry of Science and ICT and administered by the Institute of Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation as part of its follow-on research program. The program selects just two outstanding science and technology research projects administered by the National Research Foundation and connects them with ICT to support continued technological development.

Professor Kim’s team will receive KRW 1.5 billion over three years for “Development of Automatic Generation Technology for Ultrahigh-Speed I/O Circuits to Support Intelligent Semiconductors.”
