[Award] Master’s Student Seung-Jun Ham Wins Best Paper Award at the 51st KIEE Summer Conference

Seung-Jun Ham, a master’s student in POSTECH Electrical Engineering (advisor: Professor Young-Jin Kim), received a Best Paper Award at the 51st Summer Conference of the Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers, held in July 2020, for his paper, “Dynamic Network Usage Pricing for P2P Energy Trading in Distribution Systems.”

The paper proposed an optimal operating approach that accounts for grid stability during peer-to-peer energy trading. The study theoretically derived charges for potential line congestion during distributed trading optimization, demonstrating that stable grid operation can be achieved. This contribution was highly recognized.
