Eoryeong Kang, an undergraduate in POSTECH's Department of Electrical Engineering advised by Professor Junghoon Kim, received an Undergraduate Paper Award at the 35th Institute of Control, Robotics and Systems (ICROS) Conference, held July 2–4, 2020, at Sono Calm Del Pino in Sokcho, Gangwon Province.

His presentation, Robust Balance Control of an Inverted Pendulum Cart Coupled with a Spherical Shell, was recognized for its originality and excellent presentation.
