Professor Young-jin Kim of the Department of Electrical Engineering has been appointed Associate Editor of IEEE Access, published by IEEE, the largest academic organization in electrical and electronic technology. The journal is Q1, with an impact factor of 3.745 and ranks of 61/266 in electrical engineering and 35/156 in computer science–information systems.
In the Power and Energy Section, he will review papers on real-time control and optimal scheduling of smart grids incorporating solar, wind, electric vehicles, and hydrogen, along with big data and AI applications.
Professor Kim also serves as an editor of IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, IEEE Systems Journal, and Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology, and as a Guest Editor of IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing and MDPI Energies.
