Jun-ho Park, a Ph.D. student in POSTECH's Department of Electrical Engineering advised by Professor Won-bin Hong, received an Excellence Award at the first POSTECH Outstanding Achievement Competition.
Supported by the fourth-phase BK21 Graduate School Innovation program, the competition identifies graduate students and early-career researchers producing world-class results and provides an ongoing forum for sharing achievements. Each BK21 education/research group could nominate up to two participating graduate students or early-career researchers through its director.
Evaluation covered papers and academic achievements over the preceding two years. Park was recognized for strong research capabilities demonstrated by 35 publications, including ten IEEE SCI(E) journal papers; three registered patents; five best student paper awards; and one scholarship award.
