Professor Youngjoo Lee of Electrical Engineering received the 2020 Outstanding Participating Professor Award at the 2021 IDEC Congress hosted by the IC Design Education Center (IDEC). Operating with support from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy since 1995, IDEC is Korea’s largest IC design support center and is recognized for strengthening the competitiveness of the nation’s system semiconductor industry. As of 2021, 372 professors from 76 universities participated.

Professor Lee received the award for his outstanding research achievements in digital system semiconductor design over the previous year and for providing diverse educational opportunities to train future researchers.
