Dongyoung Lim, a master's student in POSTECH's Department of Electrical Engineering advised by Professor Youngjoo Lee, won a Best Paper Award at the 2021 Semiconductor Engineering Summer Conference, held July 12–14 in Namhae.

He presented research on implementing real-time channel generators, which are essential for verifying communications-system hardware. His proposed circuit design method was highly regarded for generating quantized random numbers quickly with low complexity.
