Chanhee Lee, a master’s student in POSTECH Electrical Engineering (coauthor: Sangho Yoon; advisor: Professor Seokhyeong Kang), received a Best Poster Award at the 18th International System-on-Chip Design Conference (ISOCC) for “Components Analysis on Audio Signal Mixtures.”

The paper presented an algorithm for separating multiple noise sources, with potential applications in digital hearing aids, audio enhancement, and noise cancellation.

Organized annually by the Institute of Semiconductor Engineers, ISOCC is Korea’s largest international conference on system semiconductor design. This year, approximately 500 researchers from Korea and abroad participated in the event, held in Jeju City on October 6–9.
