Professor Jung-hoon Kim of POSTECH's Department of Electrical Engineering received the Young Researcher Award at the 2021 Conference on Information and Control Systems (CICS), jointly organized by the Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers.

Held October 20–23, 2021, at the Venezia Hotel in Yeosu, the conference introduced an invited session for young researchers for the first time. Professor Kim presented “Robust Stability and Performance of Robot Systems” in this session.

The conference featured special lectures, special sessions, tutorials, oral presentations, and posters in control and information. The new invited session introduced researchers with outstanding achievements in these fields and encouraged their future research activities.
