Professor Hong Jeong of POSTECH's Department of Electrical Engineering received the Bronze Award (Korea International Trade Association Chairman's Award) at the 2008 Korea Invention Patent Exhibition. Food Science, a venture company based in POSTECH's business incubator, won silver.

Hosted by the Korean Intellectual Property Office and organized by the Korea Invention Promotion Association, the annual exhibition is Korea's largest invention event. It promotes the commercialization of outstanding technologies by identifying promising inventions and new technologies. The event was held at COEX in Seoul from the 11th to the 15th.

Professor Jeong's team entered technology for developing a three-dimensional stereoscopic imaging device.
