A joint research team from Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering won the Best Student Paper Award at World Haptics Conference 2009, the leading international conference in haptics.
At the conference recently held in Salt Lake City, USA, the POSTECH team presented “System Improvements in Mobile Haptic Interface.” The team comprised In Lee and In-wook Hwang, integrated master's/Ph.D. students in Professor Seung-moon Choi's Haptics Laboratory in Computer Science and Engineering, and Kyung-ryong Han and Oh-kyu Choi, Ph.D. students in Professor Jin-soo Lee's Robotics Laboratory in Electrical Engineering.
