Professor Wonbin Hong of POSTECH Electrical Engineering received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award at the 24th Venture Startup Promotion Awards. He was recognized for founding startups in 5G communications and antennas, promoting entrepreneurship, and developing new markets.

The awards have recognized contributions to the venture industry and innovation-driven growth since 1999 and are now in their 24th year. Applications were accepted from April 18 to June 17, with a competition ratio of 16.8 to 1. Recipients were selected through rigorous document reviews, on-site assessments, and interviews.
