Jungbin Lim, a doctoral student in POSTECH's Department of Electrical Engineering advised by Professor Namyoon Lee, received a bronze award in Communications & Networks at the 31st Samsung Humantech Paper Award for research on space–time beamforming for low-Earth-orbit satellite communications.

His paper proposes a new space–time beamforming technique that overcomes the limitations of conventional spatial beamforming to address inter-satellite interference in next-generation low-Earth-orbit satellite networks. The research is expected to serve as a foundational technology for resolving inter-satellite interference in future 6G satellite communications.
